DENVER — A rock climber was killed after she was struck by a falling rock off Twin Sisters Trail in the area of Lily Lake.
The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office received the report around 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The sheriff’s office is investigating the incident as an unattended death.

The Trail Blazers superstar’s public plea for the team to hire Jason Kidd as its new coach after parting ways with Terry Stotts made Kidd not want the job, according to ESPN. Kidd, currently a Lakers assistant, has taken himself out of consideration for the vacancy because he’s reportedly “uncomfortable” pursuing the opening in the wake of Lillard’s stance.
