Steve Hamilton aka Stephen Hamilton was reportedly arrested n the month of September 2019.
In addition to that, he was apprehended in connection to the murder of Loretta Williams and the conspiracy to commit murder between Hamilton and Lee. Ronald D. Lee is the ex-husband of the victim, Loretta Williams. However, he was arrested before Steve.
Both arrests were made based on an indictment issued by a Union County Grand Jury after an investigation by the Union County Major Crimes Team. Per the report, he killed her in November 2018 at her home in Cove. However, the court canceled the murder trial after he was found dangerous because of the mental disorder and has been transported to the Oregon State Hospital to receive restoration services.
Meanwhile, Lee’s co-defendant Stephen in March pleaded guilty to two counts of hindering prosecution for providing Lee with transportation and concealing physical evidence.
Further, he remains in the county jail.
