Selena Gomez Is Shorter Than Her 'Only Murders in the Building' Co-Star Martin Short, but Not the Sh

Fans of Only Murders in the Building often wonder about the heights of Selena Gomez, Martin Short, and Steve Martin. Some fans might be surprised to learn Gomez is shorter than her co-stars, but not the shortest person in the cast of the Hulu series. Find out how Gomez’s height stacks up with Short and Martin’s. Also, discover who is shorter than the fictional podcasting trio.

Martin Short’s height is two inches taller than Selena Gomez’s

Many fans think Gomez is shorter than she really is. In reality, the Only Murders in the Building star is one inch taller than the average American woman standing at 5 feet 5 inches tall. Meanwhile, her co-star Short, who is often thought to be shorter than he really is, stands at 5 feet 7 inches tall.

Steve Martin is taller than Martin Short and Selena Gomez

It shouldn’t surprise anyone who watches Only Murders in the Building that Martin is the tallest of the podcasting trio. The actor stands at 6 feet tall, five inches taller than Short and seven inches taller than Gomez. Ironically, Jane Lynch, who plays Martin’s fictional counterpart’s body double in Only Murders in the Building, is as tall as Martin.

Both Martin and Short are taller than the average man, who typically stands at five feet six inches.

Amy Ryan’s height is 5’4″, making her one of the shortest ‘Only Murders in the Building’ cast members

Amy Ryan, who some might recognize as Holly from The Office, was Charles-Haden Savage’s (Martin) love interest in the first season of Only Murders in the Building. The two cut ties after she was revealed the be one of the murders, but Ryan still appears in the second season of the Hulu series.

On set, Ryan is one of the shortest actors standing at five feet four inches — one inch shorter than Gomez. That may seem short, but 5’4″ is the average height of an American woman.

‘Only Murders in the Building’ cast will reunite in season 3

The OMITB, the short and the tall, will return in another season. Hulu Originals and ABC Entertainment president Craig Erwich confirmed season 3 of Only Murders in the Building on July 11.

“Only Murders in the Building is the true crown jewel of our slate,” Erwich told The Hollywood Reporter. “Its appeal across generations, the intersection of humor and heart, and its truly original approach are a hallmark of and testament to Dan [Fogelman], John [Hoffman], Steve, Marty and Selena’s work. We are grateful to be able to continue telling the stories of Charles, Oliver and Mabel to viewers that have consistently shown us they crave more of this story.”

Season 2 of Only Murders in the Building is available on Hulu now with new episodes releasing every Tuesday. Watch Only Murders in the Building exclusively on Hulu
