The outlet’s sources alleged that she was ‘held at gunpoint’ and ‘roughed up’ by the ‘armed’ man, who would not leave for ‘some time.’

Elizabeth had briefly dated the man from the area, who allegedly became ‘obsessed’ with her and would show up to her home and places she often went to.
She would occasionally help him out financially but TMZ insiders claim that his money demands became more ‘aggressive.’
The star had originally contacted authorities to report him for extortion, believing that he was coming later that day to ask for more money.

After her call on Tuesday, the cops arrived to her home and watched it from a distance, but the ex was able to slip in.
While inside, he then allegedly ‘held her at gunpoint’ and ‘roughed her up’ before she was finally let go, according to the outlet.
The situation appeared to escalate as several SWAT officers were seen with their rifles aimed at the home, with cops also seen with armored vehicles, per TMZ.
The star was pictured leaving her home in a white robe with the man still inside; he barricaded himself in the home but then eventually surrendered to the cops.
Authorities had swept the home to ensure no one else was there on Tuesday, sources told the outlet.
Law enforcement told the outlet around 7:40 p.m. PT that one suspect was placed into custody with a ‘felony crime,’ and two others at large, according to the LA Times.
The Times also reported that the incident started at 1:50 pm with police making it public by 5 pm to alert residents.

It is unknown who the other suspects were.
Police told CBSLA that a standoff commenced at around 5:45 p.m. PT in the region of East Balboa Boulevard and Medina Way.
SWAT officers were seen communicating with a megaphone in the incident and eventually entered the residence with a canine, officials said.
The incident caused traffic to be re-routed, as East Balboa Boulevard from Island Avenue to Coronado Street was cordoned off while officers dealt with the situation.
The Missouri-born Vargas was featured on the show’s 15th season.
