Dorothea Puente ran a death house in Sacramento, California in the 1980s.
There she murdered many elderly and mentally disabled people. After that, she would cash their social security checks for easy money.
Puente had been burying the victims on her property in Sacramento.
After the disappearance of many elderly people, suspicion arose about Puente in 1988. It was after 52-year-old Alvaro Montoya had gone missing.
Despite her repeated attempts to cover up her crime, the Police were eventually allowed to dig up her garden.
